Janet Davas is the President of Hatch, LLC where she advises non-profits in both start-up and more mature stages of growth with strategies for increasing revenue and sustainability through social enterprise www.hatchnola.com.

After spending more than 25 years in the private energy sector she gained exceptional organizational and communication skills and business acumen.

She founded Liberty’s Kitchen in 2008 to help rebuild and renew New Orleans. Liberty’s Kitchen helped to transform the lives of over 300 disconnected youth. She initiated a school lunch program that served over two million healthy, freshly prepared meals to low-income public school children in the city.
 
Additionally, Ms. Davas spearheaded the “Fresh Food Hub” that delivers fresh, healthy and affordable food to underserved communities with co-tenant and partner Whole Foods Market - maximizing both economic and social outcomes for the community.
