The ILI was born of a determination to promote greater innovation and sustainable progress toward improving the lives of low-wealth individuals, families and communities.
Communities are made better through services provided by skilled servant leaders and other professionals who are engaged in lifelong learning. These leaders are well versed in collaborative strategies for shared visioning, problem solving, and implementation. They build upon successes across generations, creating a culture of continuous improvement in the quality of life for diverse community stakeholders.
The mission of the Institute for Local Innovations (ILI) is to assist diverse community development organizations and professionals at every stage of their careers, in their work to build economically and socially healthier urban, suburban and rural communities.
