Innovation HubThe creation of this Innovation Hub addresses the primary goal of helping low-wealth individuals by streamlining and facilitating grant request and grant review processes for organizations and funding entities (philanthropy/foundations) respectively.
The iHub provides nonprofits and individuals a forum to digitally share ideas privately and individually to funders, addressing their concerns about possible loss of intellectual knowledge. Funders have an outlet for expanding their portfolio on their terms by having the iHub as a way of providing well thought out and developed programs/projects. Thus funders also have more opportunities expand the diversity of their portfolios by learn about and sharing with fellow funders, information on programs/projects which they may not have otherwise been presented. Due in part because the people or organizations submitting great and innovative ideas for community development might not have traditional “inroads” to the world of philanthropy. "The iHub is a digital repository for proposed innovative projects/programs to improve communities and the lives of residents & stakeholders for funder consideration." |
